About Hearthstone Restaurant Breckenridge, CO
—est. 1989 · Breckenridge, Colorado—
Legacy
The Kaiser family home in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s has been the home of the Hearthstone restaurant since 1989. A locals’ favorite for hand-cut steaks, wild game and fresh seafood. Located in the 125-year old Kaiser home, Executive Chef Jordan Kuhry creates a menu highlighting the very best of the Rocky Mountain Region. Locally farmed seasonal products — including meats, fish, artisan cheeses and fresh produce — take the stage as his culinary staff expertly prepares each dish with a commitment to the highest quality.
The Kaiser House is one of the oldest standing structures in Breckenridge, Colorado – a Victorian-era landmark that has anchored the corner of Ridge Street since the late 1800s. Long before it became a destination for fine dining, the home belonged to the Kaiser family, whose presence shaped the early character of this mountain town. When Hearthstone opened in 1989, it became the first historic restaurant in Breckenridge to transform a private residence of this significance into a full dining experience – preserving the original woodwork, fireplaces, and intimate room layout that give the building its unmistakable warmth. Dining here is not just a meal. It is a direct connection to more than a century of Breckenridge history.

We look forward to seeing you at The Hearthstone.

EXECUTIVE CHEF
Jordan Kuhry
Chef Jordan Kuhry has spent his career in the mountain kitchens of the American West – from Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Talkeetna, Alaska to the high desert of Bend, Oregon. Every stop along the way deepened his understanding of regional ingredients, seasonal rhythms, and the kind of cooking that belongs to a specific place.
At Hearthstone, he channels that background into menus that are rooted in the Rocky Mountain region – hand-cut steaks, wild game, Colorado lamb, and the freshest seafood available, prepared with precision and served without pretense.
His food is the reason Hearthstone remains the most celebrated historic restaurant in Breckenridge, Colorado after more than 35 years in the same dining room. Read more about his approach in our philosophy of the plate.

General Manager
Cody Dollar
A bartending side-gig in college introduced Cody to the world of hospitality, where he fell in love not only with food and beverage, but with curating an experience through story and service. His love for the mountains (as well as a bit of encouragement from his buddies, Eric and Corbin) brought him out to Breckenridge in 2014, where he continued his pursuit of sharing his passion for food and wine with guests from all over the world, whether it be a new face or a longtime local.
Initially drawn to Breck to ski, what truly kept him here was the sense of community offered by our quaint little town. Dining at the Hearthstone for the first time on a snowy night in 2015, Cody was so blown away by the care and comfort the experience offered that he showed up the next day to ask for a position among their talented team in hopes of learning how and why the experience set itself apart.
You can still find him haunting the halls of our Victorian home to this day, in the back row of a movie theater, or with his wife, Nicole at their lovely little flower shop in town.
